This 2-day Lake Naivasha & Lake Nakuru safari blends Kenya’s Rift Valley lakes into a compact and rewarding journey.
Your first day takes you to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake and Ramsar Wetland of International Importance (Ramsar.org). Enjoy a boat safari spotting hippos, pelicans, and African fish eagles, followed by a guided walking safari on Crescent Island among giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras.
On day two, explore Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic birding and wildlife destinations. Once known for its vast flamingo populations, Nakuru remains a hotspot for pelicans, storks, and raptors. It is also a renowned rhino sanctuary, offering rare sightings of both black and white rhinos. Lions, leopards, buffalo, and giraffes complete the Big Five experience.
This short safari is ideal for birdwatchers, families, or travelers with limited time who still want a variety of activities — boat, walking, and classic game drives — all within a few hours from Nairobi.
